Rule 9
Responsibilities of public organizations and commercial establishments
: (1) Public organizations and commercial establishments must also comply with the instructions given by the authority from time to time in addition to fulfilling the obligations mentioned in sub-section (1) of section 20 of the Act to prevent disaster.
(2) Public organizations and commercial establishments must formulate and implement business continuity plans to resume their business before, during and after a disaster. (3) Public organizations and commercial establishments shall install fire control and other disaster mitigation equipment as specified by the authority.
(4) The authority and the related disaster management committee shall regularly monitor whether public organizations and commercial establishments have fulfilled their responsibilities according to the Act and these regulations.
